The company TANG OG WEISS AS was emerged in October 2003 by a merging of the companies BENT TANG & CO. A/S and Per Weiss A/S.

History Behind the Companies
Bent Tang launched the company in 1967 with sales and service of equipment for filling, capping, and labelling of primarily liquid products. At a generational change in 1991 the company name was altered to BENT TANG & CO. A/S. The company has since then expanded to being one of the biggest suppliers of equipment for the pharmaceutical industry with regard to tablet packing, and likewise one of the biggest suppliers of filling - capping - labelling equipment for powder and all liquid products.

Per Weiss A/S was founded in September 1990 as a repair- and service company, but was rapidly developing with a production of standard as well as custom-built machines for handling containers. Since the start the company has grown gradually.

After a long period of positive cooperation between the two companies it was decided to amalgamate the two activities.

TANG OG WEISS AS is now a consulting trading- and production company, representing a number of machine suppliers, manufacturing and servicing, simple as well as advanced machines for the handling, filling and capping of containers. The field of activities is all-inclusive deliveries of complete container plants for sorting out, filling and capping of containers, consisting of:

- Projection and delivery of complete container plants
- Manufacture of standard machines for sorting out, filling, and capping of containers
- Production of purpose-built machines for combination jobs for the handling and
- fitting of containers, as well as technical work
- Manufacture of specific custom-built laboratory equipment for instance control and
- documentation of containers and technical material in a production
- Delivery of custom-conformed standard machines from a long row of foreign
- suppliers of high standing
- Purchase and sale of second-hand production-machines and matching accessories
- Carrying out maintenance, including erection/mounting, functional test, and
- commissioning of the supplied equipment
- Trouble shooting and ad hoc overhaul of "operating equipment"
- Ordinary sub supplier work

TANG OG WEISS AS' turnover is shared out with approx. 50% for the domestic market and 50% for export. Our high-class quality level has signified that we have a regular customer group, distributed among the following business lines:
